Sunday funday is cool, but have you gotten some of your best gals together to make flower arrangements? That's where the fun is at! And of course, the mimosas and bloody marys were on tap! Cue: Alice's Table

I took my first Alice's Table class almost a year ago. I was so nervous to go by myself, but it ended up being one of the most fun nights out. I always have super high hopes of being more crafty and DIY-y, but I usually fail fast! Within minutes of the class starting, I learned SO much about how to properly arrange flowers. I was instantly blown away. I think I have talked about Alice's T...

To say that I've been obsessed with skincare lately is a major understatement.  I think most people are, to be honest.  At least my friends are... I feel like we're constantly comparing products, regimens and what is the latest "trend".  I heard and read about Korean skincare (here and here) for the past few months - but was a little hesitant to try.

As I've mentioned before (probably 100x at this point), my skin is super sensitive.  I actually started this new skincare routine about 10 days before I went to Florida, but because I only brought a carry on, I didn't bring all the...

As y'all know from a recent post, I committed to #NoShopFeb for the entire 28 days of February.  I was a little nervous about doing this, but it ended up being really awesome.  I felt less stress each day as I was selecting what I was going to wear.  I know this may sound lame, but its true.  I typically struggle with picking out a look that's new and hot off the racks so I can share pieces that are still available with you if you want to buy it, too.  This also forced me to take a good, hard look at my closet and get rid of things that I'll truly never wear again. I have added a whole bunch o...

If you remember from my first post of 2018, I listed out my resolutions for this year.  One of them was to SAVE MONEY!! I'm pretty sure that I have this on my list every single year, but I truly mean it and I've committed to kick-starting this ASAP.

The past three months with the house renovation, I have spent a TON of money.  So now, I need to save. This is never easy for me because I love to be social and go out with friends, I love to shop and I still really want to do more things with the house like blinds for all the windows - HELLO, NEIGHBORS!  On top of... rugs for my bedroom and living...

Beauty, beauty, beauty, beauty... beauty everywhere! It's seriously how I feel when I walk into my bathroom - products galore. I do use them all though - some daily and some on various occassion.  I recently started using a new dry shampoo and new facial cleanser, but I'm still figuring out what I like and what I'll continue to use.  So for now, I'll keep those to myself.

I mentioned a week or so ago that I saw a new dermatologist.  I was finally diagnosed with eczema and not that anything has changed, but it does give me a better peace of mind to know what is going on with my skin.  I cha...

I've spent the majority of the first day of 2018 on the couch watching Wentworth (highly recommend it if you are into Orange is the New Black) on Netflix.  I feel excited about the year ahead and also full of uncertainty.  In 2017, I sold my first condo and bought a house.  The past three months have been stressful, thrilling and also inclusive of a lot of big decisions as I rebuild my home.  I'm so thankful to have a roof over my head, a soul mate who is my best friend and a family to lean on during the good times and bad.

Lately, my head has been filled with so many thoughts....

Happy Hump Day! After a week spent on Cape Cod with my family, I was happy to come home to Karsen and rest for a few days before getting back to work, a regular routine, and finally start focusing on house renovations. This past week really helped me realize how precious time is. You can’t rush it, you can’t hold it up… all you can really do is just live in the moment. Every second. Every day… nothing is promised.

A funny thing about me is that I have close to 10 watches.  At one point in the past year, only 1 of the watches was actually working.  All the batteries had died on them and I was to...

Hey there! You might have seen a few photos from my afternoon aboard Classic Harbor Line's boat a few weeks ago. I was so excited - and honored - when Jackie Zukerman extended the invite to me to be featured in the Summer 2017 issue of NEXTonSCENE magazine.  So, the back story on Jackie and I connecting is amazing. I met Jackie through Facebook. WHAT? That's right. Social connections are real these days. I was immediately drawn to her spunky personality and always-on drive for her own brand and business, as well as her support for so many strong women around her. She is truly a type of friend...

Hi All!  It's been FOREVER since I've posted a blog for so many reasons.  The first - and most time-consuming of all - is that I moved.  It was a full 3-day adventure of packing up my condo, moving into the new house and then UNPACKING all the boxes. I was so sore from all that moving.  Oh, and add on 80+ degree temps to those 3 days. It was a sweat-fest around here.

After moving last week, I then had a work trip to NYC for 3 days that was go, go, go from morning to night. I didn't have time to get a blog up - never mind try to squeeze a workout into the schedule.  I noticed...

June 1, 2017

It was two years to this date that I ventured into Cambridge, MA with my sister (because I literally can't do anything without her) to sign thousands of papers before ultimately receiving the keys to my new home.  I was feeling so many emotions - excitement, stress - but also a huge amount of pride and accomplishment.  I was a single, working woman, buying my own home.  Just me.  No mom.  No spouse.  Just me.

Today, 2 years later, I am now 13 days away from moving out of my condo and into a new HOUSE. Of course, all those same emotions that I experienced two years ago a...
