My Week in Miami

I'm a tad embarrassed to admit this, but last week was my first time in Miami since 2006?!? I'm not sure what took me so long to get back to this amazing city, but I'm glad I got to visit again. I attended the Women in Retail Leadership Summit at the gorgeous Four Seasons Miami. The summit was amazing with so many inspiring women speaking from QVC, Chico's, David's Bridal and Create and Cultivate.

The days were long and the nights flew by, so I didn't have too much time to pull together the links for my outfits last week. I was so impressed and excited by the awesome looks I saw at the summit. The lovely ladies of Seven for All Mankind rocked some pretty badass jeans. Vince Camuto was onsite with a fun pop-up shop featuring great new bags, shoes & perfume (Bella smells amazing!!!):

One thing I never mentioned while on this trip was that my dog, Karsen, was not feeling 100%. He is on a few meds right now to hopefully rid his body of a pretty aggressive disease. I hate leaving him as it is, never mind both Dennis and I were traveling 2 of the 6 days I was away. LUCKILY, my amazing sister and Veterinarian extraordinaire was able to take care of him and monitor any changes. Everything went perfectly fine and I came home to a much happier puppy. PHEW!

Now... on to the outfits. I'm so bummed, but I was unable to track down the Charlie Jade pink/floral dress that I wore one night out. I found it at Nordstrom Rack on super sale ($25) and HAD to have it. I'll keep looking for y'all though. Happy browsing!

Restaurant Recommendations in Miami:

Blackbird Ordinary - AMAZINGLY delicious drinks. Try to stop by for Happy Hour until 8pm for buy 1, get 1 free beverages.

Beaker & Grey - Appetizers are mouth-watering. I tried the cauliflower and I'm pretty sure every table around us did the same.

Edge Steak & Bar - For a hotel steakhouse, Edge lives up to the hype.

Michael's Genuine - We were told that we HAD to get the fried pig ears and pork belly dishes. We DID and we LOVED. We also got a few other small and medium dishes (this is how they categorize each plate) and were SO full. Must try in Wynwood.

The Salty Donut - Need I say more? The donuts are HUGE and the line is OUT THE DOOR. Definitely add this to your weekend checklist of must-try places.
