An Afternoon with Style Collective

I had the pleasure of attending my first "blogger" event this past Saturday. I decided to join the Style Collective community in February in order to truly immerse myself in all things blogging/influencing when I took the leap in launching Klassically Kaytee. If you've been blogging for 2 years, 2 months or 2 weeks... this community is for all levels of the style blogger.

On one of the busiest Saturdays in Boston, the Style Collective ladies and I came together at La Voile on Newbury Street. After fighting traffic for a good 40 minutes (thanks to my amazing boyfriend agreeing to chauffeur me into town), we each were greeted with a refreshing Kir Royale and a warm hug from Annie Spano, founder of Style Collective. The reason for this afternoon's get-together was to recognize and celebrate the recent launch of Annie's Becoming Fearless podcast. If you haven't had the opportunity to listen yet, I highly recommend it!

As this was my first blogger event, I was so {NERVOUS} excited to meet a few girls whom I've been following on Instagram in person. With so many amazingly unique and creative women in one room - the conversations flowed as easily as the wine.

I am constantly amazed by all the delicious-ness that comes out of Boston kitchens. The French cuisine delivered by La Voile was well.... délicieux! The charcuterie, foie gras and luncheon sandwiches sent your palette right to France. I can't wait to return to La Voile to experience more of the menu and share the French ambiance with friends.

I want to thank Julie from Aine's in Reading, MA. for the amazing romper I wore to this event. Julie owns a fabulous women's boutique featuring brands like Kut from the Kloth, as well as unique accessories, nestled in a quaint downtown in the North Shore. There is something for every women at Aine's and I can't wait to return for more summer pieces! I'm excited to share a 20% off discount (full-priced items only) with my Klassically Kaytee readers when you mention this post!

There's two ways to shop Aine's:

- If you're local in Boston, stop by the store at 662 Main Street in Reading, MA.

- For those out of state, start by following Aine's on Instagram to see the most recent items in store. Then, you can shop the entire store through their Facebook shopping community.

In preparation for this event, I took a visit to Assembly Row in Somerville to experience Polished Nail Boutique. Shannon, the owner, made me feel like a long-time client, welcoming me in to her salon like a best friend. Polished also had onsite threading on Tuesdays - definitely a must do!

I can't wait for the next Style Collective meet up! Until then, check out the community and let me know if you are interested - I'd love to talk about it.
