What's Always in My Suitcase
Today kicks off a busy month of travel. Some of it is for work...some is for FUN. One trip is BOTH because Dennis is joining me as we head to Europe (stay tuned for for on this)! This will be his first trip to Europe - so it's going to be really exciting. As I start packing, I realized that there are 4 beauty staples that always make it in my suitcase no matter where I'm going - hot or warm location. So, today I'm sharing with you the products that are must-have's in my suitcase to ensure my skin stays moisturized and healthy no matter where I go.
I love the line of eye mask sheets from Sephora for so many reasons. First of all, they're only $4. Can't beat that. Secondly, they have so many "types" like green tea, pomegranate, etc. It's so easy to throw into your bag or suitcase instead of bringing a jar or bottle of a liquid mask.
This is just a given, right? I like to use these after a long day at an event or conference to wipe away all the dirt and germs on my face and then reapply some moisturizer and some light makeup to head to dinner. At the end of the night, I'm definitely use a more substantial facial cleanser to fully clean my face.
At the end of each day, I use a deep facial cleanser to wash off all the dirt and grime on my face. I only do this at night and just splash cold water in the AM.
Night time recovery serum is literally a must have - travel or no travel. I love this because I always feel like I wake up and my skin is back to life. It's more firm and full of moisture after a long day prior.
I use this facial mist throughout the day. In the morning, I use this after I moisturize and put on some light make up. At night, it's the final step before slipping into the sheets. I use this after a flight because being so high up can really dry out my skin. Also, a good friend of mine is the founder of Hoxie Organics and I can not support her more for all the amazingly natural products that she uses in her products.
Which beauty products are your favorite for traveling? I would love to hear your go-to's as I ramp up my stash of goodies for the next month of travel.
