I had a ton of weddings in 2016. Which makes things super expensive when I'm the queen of NEVER re-wearing something once its been photographed. That means: every wedding, a new dress. I came across Bardot while browsing online at Bloomingdales and all too quickly added the Gemma Lace Halter Dress (in navy) to my cart. While I am always happy when I get to dress up, I was a tad hesitant about this dress as the September wedding invitation was "black tie optional." I wasn't sure if it was not dressy enough since it is short. After the bride gave her blessing, I bought it! I received SO many compliments on this dress. I don't recall seeing this dress in red when I purchased it, but its now available and would be perfect for a wedding.
Fast forward to October and another wedding. I looked at the Bardot line again and found the perfect emerald green dress for a fall wedding - the Karlie Lace Dress. I don't see the green available any longer - such a bummer!! The lace, the off the shoulder - it was so unique! Also, I don't think I even own a lot of emerald green... and that has since changed!! Again, a ton of compliments on this dress. I convinced my long-time family friend to wear the Gemma Lace Halter Dress to an upcoming wedding and I can not wait to see photos of her in it.
My neighbor and I were chatting about the Gemma Lace Halter Dress and she is most likely getting it in red. That got me thinking (and browsing) about the upcoming weddings I have this year. I decided to check out the current Bardot line - now available at Nordstrom and Revolve, too! I've linked some of my favorite ones below. I tend to shy away from black dresses, but did include a few options in black that also come in other amazing colors that you have to see!
BONUS: I even linked a white option that I think would be perfect for a wedding shower or rehearsal dinner.
There's never a bad time to buy an amazing dress, right?
